Return and exchange policy
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
We offer a 14-day refund and/or exchange on most products. All items considered for exchange or refund must be in "as new", unopened condition, free of visible marks, scratches or defects, and complete with all components and packaging materials.
All returns are subject to inspection and return approval by a Don’s Photo Manager. Don’s Photo reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange of merchandise. Full details are as follows.
Exchange & Return conditions
- The item must be returned in "as new" condition, free of visible marks, scratches, or defects, and complete with all components and packaging materials.
- The item must be accompanied by the original receipt (not a copy).
- Refund will be credited back against the original method of payment or to a Gift Card
- Cash purchases over $150 will be refunded by cheque and will take 5 business days to process.
No refund or exchange of the following items will be accepted:
- Gift Cards
- Open computers and related peripherals, including scanners and printers.
- Open Memory Cards
- Open Headphones
- Non-stocked special-order items*
- Re-furbished or Clearance Items
- Film
- Paper and Chemistry
- Batteries
- Ink Cartridges
- Bulbs
- Services
- Shipping & handling charges
- All DJI Brand Products (After sales support/service must be done directly with DJI )
Shipped Orders
Items received via shipment are eligible for return 14 days from the date received. Product considered for return or exchange are subject to inspection upon arrival at Don’s Photo and must meet all the terms and conditions of our Return and Exchange policy. Any merchandise returned via post or courier can be brought directly to any Don’s Photo retail or shipped pre-paid to

Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded unless the return is a result of an error by Don’s Photo or DOA. DOA is defined as a brand-new unit that will not turn on or does not function prior to your first use.
Purchases made on EBay are not eligible for return or exchange.
All eligible items can be either returned directly to one of our stores or shipped to us.
Prior to shipping us the item, please call or e-mail our return department.
Printers & Scanners
We can only accept a return or exchange of a printer or scanner if it is unopened with all manufacturer seals and packaging intact and within 14 days from purchase. If the printer or scanner is defective or you are having any technical issues with it, the ink or the paper, you must contact the manufacturer for support before you contact us. The manufacturer will decide the next step. If they approve a return or exchange, they must provide an RMA or ticket # for you to send to us.

DJI Brand Products
All DJI products are final sale. There are no returns or exchanges on DJI items. DJI insists on handling all DOA and service issues directly. For more information visit: www.dji.com/support

Don’s Photo is not responsible for any damage, injury, or warranty claim that occurs with or in connection with any UAV models or brands we sell. These systems require careful training and preparation to use safely. Do not use a drone if you are not properly trained or qualified. Don’s Photo does not assume responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury due to the use or misuse of a UAV. Please be aware that the purchaser/operator/pilot assumes all liability and is responsible for:
- Damages to property and persons from the equipment.
- Improper use of the equipment.
- Any indirect or consequential damage related to the use of a UAV.
- Ensuring proper configuration, including Wi-Fi configuration, and maintenance of the equipment.
- Complying to all local and federal laws which may regulate the use of UAV in your area.
