Fill the box with prints, slides, Kodak carousels or home movies to be scanned -  it’s that simple! If you’re one of those people who just doesn’t know where to begin, The Gather Box makes it a little less overwhelming. Oh, and did we mention it makes a meaningful gift idea as well?

How it works


  • STEP 1: GATHER.
    Purchase the box for yourself or a loved one! We have four types of Gather Boxes: prints, slides, slide carousel, and video tapes. . Order here for store pick-up or have us ship you the box. Inside, find instructions and tips to guide you through the sorting and gathering process.

  • STEP 2: FILL THE BOX
    Based on the type of Gather Box you get, fill it with your treasured memories from yester-year and drop it off to your nearest Don’s Photo.



  • STEP 3: Magic
    Return to find that everything in your box has been magically transformed into digital format. Now you can relax in confidence knowing those precious relics from the past are now protected and easily accessible.

Will my treasured photos be safe?


Absolutely! We do our best to keep your treasures safe. The Print Refinery™ technicians have a combined 80 years of experience in preserving memories. Our team of professional photo archivists will care for your memories as if they were our own. We take memory preservation seriously and ensure we protect them from potential risks like shipping or delivery damage, loss and theft.


What if I have memorabilia that won’t fit in the box?


Don’t worry, it’s very common for a first-time archiver to have more memories than the box can hold. The Gather Box is simply a place to begin. Elements that don’t fit inside the box can be digitized with the same order, however, additional fees will apply. We’re happy to work with any size custom archiving project, even if it doesn’t fit in the box! A cost estimate will be provided before the magic begins.
